Time flies when you’re having fun, and we’re cruising through the end of 1988 in the World Wrestling Federation with Saturday Night’s Main Event 18, a show that aired two days after our last one, Survivor Series.
Two titles are up for grabs in this one. In his first Intercontinental Title defense, the Ultimate Warrior takes on the mysterious Super Ninja, and Andre the Giant gets a shot at Macho Man Randy Savage’s World Heavyweight Championship.
Elsewhere, the Rougeaus are in tag team action, and we have a special episode of the Brother Love Show, featuring the Doctor of Style and the Immortal Hulk Hogan.

Good listen again from Duke and Rogue. I look forward to this podcast because it’s from when I was growing up in the 80s. HK is an Andre guy like I was. The thing with Jesse and Vince was that Jesse wasn’t being paid royalties like the others were so he turned to movies to piss Vince off which he accomplished. Jesse would later bring Vince to court and won his royalties lawsuit for 800k. That’s what caused the rift between the two and Jesse then leaving for WCW.
