In this episode of the 30 Screams or Less podcast we review “Cannibal Mukbang” written and directed by Aimee Kuge, starring April Consalo (Ash), Nate Wise (Mark), and Clay von Carlowitz (Maverick). The plot of the movie is shy and lonely Mark falls for Ash, a mysterious woman with a strange online obsession: mukbang videos. But the deeper Mark gets pulled into her world, the more he realizes this isn’t just about eating food on camera. Ash has a much darker appetite, and their twisted romance quickly spirals into blood, obsession, revenge, and, unfortunately for several people, dinner.
