The Shining Wizards 737: Mania & The Maniac

It’s the biggest week in wrestling and the Shining Wizards have you covered.

The big reveal of Polaco Watch & It’s what everyone expected but we get all the details from HK

Matt watched NWA’s 200th Episode of Powerrr and shares his thoughts as KJG attempted to watch but couldn’t get into it.

The boys are joined by Northeast Independent Wrestling Legend, “The Maniac” Glen Osbourne. Glen shares with us his insights on his career, the guys he worked with, the impact he had on the wrestling industry and his excitement heading into TWA One and Done & Rasslecon on May 3rd at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Back from a quick break the boys jump into AEW. Dynamite and Collision had some great wrestling, but Matt is still hung up on the story telling. He has issues with the Learning Tree segment and the Hurt Syndicate segment, continues to harp on records and just wants the Death Riders to end. We also talk about running at Globe Life and why it’s only set up for 18,000.

Talk turns to the WWE and It’s Wrestlemania week. The Build to Wrestlemania has left the boys feeling a little empty, but still excited. They run down the cards for each night, the Hall of Fame being at 1am Eastern, Jeff Cobb leaving NJPW, will John Cena capture 17 at Wrestlemania 41 & the Wrestlemania 9 Documentary that dropped last week

It’s time for homework, as the boys discuss the 2nd ever Meltzer 5 Star Match, Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask. The reactions are priceless. As it’s 3 matches all rolled into one.

Then Tony assigns us 2 pieces of homework, for a little compare and contrast. Be sure to watch them in the order he assigned them

First is this match Duggan vs Warrior

Then you watch this match 2nd Tooth and Nail Match

We wrap things up with some Dark Side of the Ring talk as we reflect on the man called Vader and if his career would have been different if not for Shawn Michaels.

Remember to subscribe, rate and review. And we are back on Twitch, so look for that link real soon.
