The guys are back to talk about the WWF’s first show of 1989, a Saturday Night’s Main Event that took place shortly before the Royal Rumble.

The Mega Powers and Twin Towers continue to feud, as the Hulkster takes on the African Dream Akeem with the Big Bossman and Slickster in his corner. Instead of joining his teammate out there, the Macho Man is taking in the action from a secret place backstage with Mean Gene, possibly indicating some dissention in the team.

Elsewhere, we have the Ultimate Warrior defending the his title against the Honky Tonk Man, and the Red Rooster takes on Tito Santana, with Rooster’s manager Bobby Heenan miked up at ringside.
