In the 1980’s, the WWF produced Saturday Night’s Main Event, special shows that aired on NBC in place of SNL when the comedy troupe had a week off.
Today we’re covering the 16th one of these, and the first to not feature Hulk Hogan, who was busy working on the classic film No Holds Barred.

Fresh off victory at WrestleMania 4, World Champion The Macho Man Randy Savage defends his title against The One Man Gang. Elsewhere, we have a tag match with the Bulldogs taking on Demolition, and two of Rogue’s all time favorites from this era, Koko B Ware and Ravishing Rick Rude facing off.
