We’re all too familiar with “that person”. That individual who insists they “know it all” regardless of the topic at hand. As Metalheads it’s particularly irritating when these posers try horning in on beloved genre. But’s there’s always a way to trip them up. Heavy Metal is ripe with trivia that is common knowledge to us but would expose any claims-to-be. Namely, a Sabbath vocalist not named Dio or Ozzy. Or Kirk Hammett’s pre Metallica band. You get the idea. In our “News, Views and Tunes” we celebrate “Ghostbuster’s Day”, discuss “Flesh Gordon” (!!) and fanboy out for Spider Punk. Musically, we crank new + used from Dan Lorenzo (ex-Hades), 7 Seconds, Glass Casket, Lord Vigo, Elder Devil, Thantifaxath, and introduce Texas grinders Molly Ringworm (!!!) in our “Indie Spotlight”. Horns Up and Stay Healthy!
