It’s Monday Night and the boys are back at it again.
Tony is running a bit behind because of “work”
Matt and Kevin kick off the show with some history information, catch up on the week they had, then dive right into the AEW saga. They touch on CM Punk’s injury, Tony Khan, Malakai Black, Trios Titles, Grand Slam and more. Kevin has some internet issues, so Matt has to go it alone for a few minutes, putting over the latest Inside the Ropes Magazine and the Almanac that cover 1989-1990. Upon Kevin’s return the boys put a bow on the AEW talk, and briefly touch on the NWA before being joined by our guest.
Landon Hale joins us to talk about being trained by Robert Gibson, going from Kentucky to Massachusetts, being a Chiropractor, his first match, Chaotic Wrestling and much more. It’s a fun conversation and a great introduction to Landon if you aren’t familiar with him.
Tony joins us during the interview, and once Landon exits, we are joined by the Can You Beat That Champion, Christian Rocco. He is scheduled to defend against Kate the Great, but as you know, things change, you’re gonna have to hear this to believe it.
After the Can You Beat That Challenge, we hit on a few things, Tony’s hate for AEW, Extreme Rules, Impact, & the Great Muta’s retirement tour.
