At our ripe old age, your RAM hosts have been on this planet for as long as Heavy Metal itself. So, with the exception of the formation of the genre itself, we’ve pretty much seen the birth of all the significant sub genres. We remember well those first important, ground breaking records. So this week we decided to share the whys and wherefores of our beginnings with a.o. Black, Thrash, Crossover and NWOBHM. Of course with so much history behind these relatively short 50 years, we barely scratched the surface.
